Wreath-laying ceremony in Springfield honors Lincoln’s birthday

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Veterans, tourists and state officials celebrated
President Abraham Lincoln’s 200th birthday with a wreath-laying ceremony at
his final resting place this morning.
Springfield American Legion Post 32 organized the 75th annual pilgrimage
